About David

Although David's voice is widely known and recognized throughout the music community, his musical talent doesn't stop there. David plays the trombone, keyboards and trumpet making him an welcome and intricate part of any group.


Raised in a musical family, David performed in church at an early age while he built his rock 'n' roll chops performing in high school bands. His love for southern gospel is obvious in his ability to harmonize while his vocal range has the audience held spellbound.


David not only enjoys performing with his current band, he uses his music to give back to the community often performing at civic and charitable events.


The Monarchs (2014)

2009 - today

David is currently one of the lead vocalists for The Monarchs, a group that is widely known as Louisville's musical ambassadors. The Monarchs have performed for more than 50 years and today continue to sell out shows, dances, festivals and events.

The Fanatics (1983)

1979- 2006

After some time spent traveling on the road with The Wulfe Bros., David returned to The Fanatics in 1979.

The Wulfe Brothers (1978)

1977 - 1979

David was a member of The Wulfe Bros. one of the country's best touring club bands. Featuring four-part harmonies, this group played throughout the midwest, Aruba and Alaska.

The Fanatics (1974)

1972 - 1977

The Fanatics were formed in 1965 primarily of students from St Xavier High School. They recorded and released several records which were played on WAKY radio, a top-40 station in the Louisville area. This very versatile group used seventeen different instruments in their performance. David joined The Fanatics the first time in 1972.
